Healing Hands

When your young, you think you're invinsible, nothing can stop you. But when you are faced with a life or death situation, what do you do? You pray and thank God for the healing that He has already provided you.

Already provided - you seem shocked!
Yes - God has already provided the way for your healing, all you have to do is accept it.

In my case, you have just turned 31 years old and after a doctors visit, the doctor calls you and says that they are scheduling you for immediate surgery! I had been diagnosised with Stage 4 Maligant Melanoma. People that is as bad as it gets. Usually they tell you to get your affairs in order and enjoy what time you have left. However, at first I got really scared - what was I going to do. I had a very young child, a mound of bills, my brother is in Afganistan serving his country (you're affraid that you will never live to see him again). You have all these things that you haven't done yet and you fear dieing. After that, you tend to get really MAD, not at yourself, but at Satan - he is trying to take you out for a reason and he is hitting you with everything he has. That's when you turn to your GOD and pour out your heart and ask Him what you need to do.

Psalms 91 says that God will protect us under His sheltering wings, and He will take out whatever is on your right and left sides. Once you understand that, you realize that you are invinsible through GOD and he is not going to fail His children. Because kiddos' we are GOD'S children. We are the sons and daughters of the most high King (the Alpha & the Omega).

Since all this happened 7 years ago, and yes, what Satan meant for harm did not come to pass - Satan has tried to "take me out again" and once again he has been unsuccessful. Some of the best advice I got during this time, actually came from my mother: she told me that GOD had plans for me, and whatever those plans were, they must have made Satan really scared, for him to try something this heavy duty.

Those plans for me, from GOD, have not come to pass yet, but I am still here and I no longer fear ANYTHING that Satan tries to throw in my pathway. Prayer goes a long, long way, people - so whatever it is that Satan is plaguing you with, seek GOD through prayer and all will be revealed.
